Today I made an apple cake that’s super soft and moist. Very fragrant. Doesn’t apple pie remind you of grandma’s dessert? I love eating it while it’s still warm, with lots of apples that melt in your mouth with every bite.
I used the stand mixer for convenience, but there’s no need to whip anything, so you can easily use a hand whisk.
Here are other apple treats for you.

Add 1 diced apple on top and bake at 356°F for about 40 minutes.
Delicious warm. But it’s no slouch the next day either.
Variations:
Add plant-based milk, lactose-free butter for a lighter version.
Add nuts to the batter for a crunchy touch.
Use the base with other types of fruits.
