Perfect Crepes with the Thermomix: Easy and Quick Basic Recipe (Sweet or Savory)

Looking for something simple, quick, and super versatile? Crepes with the Thermomix are the perfect answer. With just a few ingredients and zero effort, you can serve a delicious breakfast, a dessert, or even a different kind of dinner. Filled with jam, cream, chocolate, or in a savory version, they are always a guarantee. Let me explain my basic, tried and true, and very easy recipe!

I used the Thermomix for convenience, but you can use electric whisks or a manual whisk. The preparation is very simple.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1.6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 3.5 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 packet vanillin (only for the sweet version)

Tools

  • Thermomix
  • Ladle
  • Crepe Pan
  • Bowl
  • Whisk

Steps

  • Pour all the ingredients into the Thermomix bowl (the melted butter) and blend for 30 seconds at speed 5. Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes. The mixture should be liquid. Do not add flour.

  • Pour the milk into a bowl.

  • Add flour.

  • And eggs.

  • Add the melted butter.

  • Mix with the whisk until all lumps are dissolved. Let rest for 30 minutes.

  • Pour a ladleful onto a pan and cook 2 minutes per side.

  • Now it’s your turn: make the crêpes with the Thermomix and have fun filling them however you like! If you want to make them even more delicious, try serving them in a stack with alternate layers of cream or fresh fruit. Let me know in the comments which version is your favorite!
