Ingredients

  • 2.8 oz vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanillin
  • 5 oz natural plain yogurt
  • 1 pinch salt

Steps

  • Work the eggs, at room temperature, with the sugar for about 7/8 minutes. They should triple in volume.

  • Add the oil, yogurt, and a pinch of salt and continue to beat for about 2 minutes.

  • Finally, add the sifted flour with baking powder and vanillin. Beat for another 2 minutes until there are no more lumps.

  • Pour the mixture into the loaf pan, buttered and floured, and bake for 40 minutes at 356°F.

As desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
