  • Air Fryer
  • 2 Bowls
  • Spoon
  • Kitchen Scale
  • 6 Muffin Molds
  • Brush
  • Sieve

Preparation of the Muffins in the Air Fryer

  • In a bowl, place the egg, sugar, oil, milk and stir with a spoon until you get a homogeneous mixture (2 minutes will suffice).

  • In another bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder, add the chocolate chips, and mix.

  • Pour the dry mixture (flour, baking powder, and chocolate chips) into the bowl with the liquid mixture and stir quickly with a spoon until you get a thick and lump-free batter.

  • Brush each muffin mold with spray oil and then flour it, spoon the batter into the molds until you run out (these proportions are precise for 6 muffins), set aside for a moment.

  • Preheat the air fryer in oven mode to 320°F (160°C), and once hot, insert the molds with the batter into the basket and start it. At the end of the 16 minutes, you can remove the muffins from the fryer (be careful not to burn yourself) and unmold them even while hot as they will not break! Then all that’s left is to enjoy them!

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • What can I use to make them sugar-free?

To make them sugar-free, simply replace the 80 g of sugar with 80 g of erythritol or 25 g of stevia.

  • Can I replace cow’s milk with plant-based milk?

Yes, you can substitute cow’s milk with almond, rice, soy, or oat milk.

  • Can I substitute all-purpose flour?

  • I don’t like dark chocolate, can I leave it out?

Yes, you can leave out the dark chocolate or replace it with milk or white chocolate.
