  • 13 oz squid rings (weight is for defrosted (if fresh ones are not available))
  • 1.1 lbs cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves red garlic
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.14 oz fine salt
  • 4 tbsps whole wheat flour
  • 2 tbsps breadcrumbs
  • 1 bunch parsley (fresh to be chopped)

Preparation of Breaded Air Fryer Squid Rings

  • If you are using frozen squid rings (or calamari), thaw them first, rinse them under running water once thawed, drain them, and pat them dry with paper towels.

  • Place the squid rings in a bowl, add the washed, dried, and halved cherry tomatoes, season with salt and olive oil, and mix well with 2 spoons.

  • Add the flour, breadcrumbs, chopped garlic, and parsley, and mix until well combined.

  • Set the air fryer to fish mode at 375°F and cook for 18 minutes. Once hot, place the parchment paper in the basket, add the squid rings and tomatoes, spread them out, insert the basket, and start cooking. Stir halfway through with a wooden spoon and enjoy them hot once cooked!
