- 27.5 oz broccoli (green, weighed after cleaning)
- 5 oz sausage
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 clove red garlic
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Broccoli and Sausage Bake
Start by cleaning the broccoli from waste parts, cut it into small pieces, rinse under running water, drain well with a colander, and put it in a large pot, cover with salted water, and bring to a high heat. Once it boils, cook for 20 minutes, then drain well.
Place the cooked and well-drained broccoli in a bowl, mash well with a fork, add oil, salt, pepper, peeled and crumbled sausage, and mix well. Finally, add the breadcrumbs and egg, and with the help of a spoon, mix until all ingredients are combined.
