Ingredients for Cacio e Pepe Swirls
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 1 oz oz pecorino cheese (grated)
- 2 tsp tsp black pepper (freshly ground)
- 2 tbsp tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Cacio e Pepe Swirls
Unroll the puff pastry on the work surface and brush the surface with oil using the silicone brush.
Sprinkle the grated pecorino cheese on top, distributing it evenly, then sprinkle the freshly ground black pepper evenly over the pecorino.
Roll the puff pastry starting from the short side, then cut 12 swirls approximately 0.4 inches wide, place the swirls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 425°F and once hot, bake for 20 minutes. Once baked, remove the cacio e pepe swirls from the oven, let them cool, and enjoy them; they’re delicious!
Tips
You can serve the cacio e pepe swirls by plating them with some lamb’s lettuce as decoration.
For serving the puff pastry swirls, you can use a plate (ceramic) or a board (rustic) depending on your preferred style.
