Ingredients for the Creamy Curry Chicken

  • 12 oz chicken breast (whole)
  • 2 tablespoons curry (powder)
  • 7 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch fine salt (or pink salt)

Useful Tools for Curry Chicken

  • Bowl glass
  • Kitchen Scale
  • 2 Spoons tablespoons
  • Pan non-stick with lid
  • Wooden Spoon
  • Cutting board and knife
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Small Bowl

Steps to Make Perfect Curry Chicken

  • Clean the chicken breast from any waste parts (if you can’t, have your butcher do it) and cut it into cubes, all more or less the same size, and place them in a preferably glass bowl.

  • In a small bowl, pour the curry, a pinch of salt, the flour, and 3 (out of the 7 in the ingredients) tablespoons of water; mix well until you get a uniform mixture.

  • Pour the curry cream over the chicken pieces and mix with two spoons until the chicken is all covered. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature (in winter) or in the fridge (in summer).

  • After resting, heat the oil in the pan over medium heat and once hot, add the chicken with all its cream, add the remaining tablespoons of water, stir with a wooden spoon and cover with a lid. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  • At the end of cooking, the curry chicken will be creamy, well-cooked, soft, and with a delicious sauce to accompany it when you serve it. If at the end of cooking it dries out a lot, add 1 tablespoon of water at a time until you reach the perfect consistency and cooking! Enjoy your meal!

Tips

If you want to make the creamy curry chicken even more delicious, you can add freshly ground pepper at the end of cooking.
