Ingredients for Easy Gratinated Champignons Recipe
- 9 champignon mushrooms
- 4 tablespoons breadcrumbs (preferably coarse grain)
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 5 leaves basil (fresh)
- 1 to taste fine salt (according to your tastes, I usually use 1/2 teaspoon for these amounts)
- 1/2 teaspoon mixed peppercorns (freshly ground)
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Easy Gratinated Champignons
Start by cleaning the mushrooms, remove the stem, trim the end, and peel the mushroom cap, wash the mushrooms and stems well, and once they are clean, pat them dry with paper towels, then set them aside.
Place the champignon caps in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and lightly salt them, then proceed to the next step.
Prepare the gratin by mixing in a bowl: breadcrumbs, peeled and finely chopped garlic, chopped parsley and basil, finely chopped mushroom stems, a pinch of salt, pepper (optional), and mix well.
Fill each mushroom with the gratin (1 heaping tablespoon per mushroom), drizzle the oil provided in the recipe over the top.
Preheat the oven to 482°F (250°C), and once hot, bake the mushrooms for 20 minutes, then remove and serve, excellent both hot and cold! Enjoy your meal!
