- 1.32 lbs fennel (consider the weight when cleaned)
- 2 sprays extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsps dried onion
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1 pinch black pepper (freshly ground)

Preparation of Fennel in Air Fryer with Onion
Clean the fennel from waste parts, wash them well and pat them dry with kitchen paper, cut them into slices, then strips and finally into large pieces, place them in a bowl.
Season the fennel with oil, salt, and pepper (the onion is added towards the end of cooking) mix with two spoons and set aside.
Set the air fryer to 338°F (as temperature) and 20 minutes (as time), start it (with preheating) and when it is ready insert the special parchment paper in the basket, pour in the fennel and arrange them with the wooden spoon, reinsert the basket and it will restart by itself starting the cooking.
Open the air fryer halfway through cooking, mix, reinsert and continue cooking, when 3/4 minutes are left at the end, remove the basket, add the dried onion, mix, and finish cooking.
Once the fennel in the air fryer is ready, pour them onto a serving plate and serve, enjoy them hot!
