Preparation of Gratinated Peppers, Very Easy!

  • Clean the peppers by removing stems, filaments, and seeds, wash them well under running water, pat them dry with paper towels and place them in the baking pan with the skin side down and the open side up.

  • In a bowl, pour the breadcrumbs, freshly chopped parsley, coarsely chopped garlic clove, salt, pepper, and mix well, spread this flavored breadcrumb over the peppers.

  • Pour the oil over the peppers, preheat the oven to 482°F, and once hot, bake for 15/20 minutes, then take out and enjoy, great both hot and cold!

Advice

As mentioned, gratinated peppers are excellent both hot and cold. In summer, if you prepare a double batch, once cold, you can put them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge for 2/3 days. They will be excellent as a side dish or as a filling for sandwiches and wraps!
