Herb omelette, baked in the oven, is made with few ingredients and will make your taste buds tingle! Ingredients for the oven-baked herb omelette

  • 6 eggs (medium)
  • 1 bunch basil (about 0.5 oz)
  • 1 bunch parsley (about 0.5 oz)
  • 2 teaspoons chives (dried)
  • 2 tablespoons Grana Padano cheese (grated)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt

Preparation of the herb omelette

  • Break the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, and lightly beat them with a spoon.

  • Add the grated Grana cheese and flour to the eggs, mix quickly for 1 minute, then add the oil, chives, washed and chopped basil and parsley, and combine all the ingredients.

  • Preheat the oven to 480°F, line the baking pan with parchment paper, and pour in the egg and herb mixture. When the oven is hot, bake and cook for 15/18 minutes, then remove the herb omelette from the oven and enjoy it, excellent both hot and cold!

Tips

If you like, you can add 1 minced garlic clove to the omelette.

You can also add diced bacon.

You can serve them during an appetizer or as a second course accompanied by salad.

Also excellent as a sandwich filling!
