  • 0.5 oz stevia (to be ground to a powder with a blender)
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2.5 tbsp low glycemic index flour
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon

  • Jar airtight closure
  • Sifter

Steps to Make Homemade Hot Chocolate Mix

  • Weigh all the ingredients and sift them into a bowl.

  • Transfer the hot chocolate mix into the jar where you will store it, the dose is for 4 people, you could also package the mix in single-serving jars!

  • HOW TO USE THE HOMEMADE HOT CHOCOLATE MIX: for a liquid chocolate, pour a portion into a cup (about 0.9 oz of mix), heat (always for 1 portion) 4.5 oz of water or milk, pour into the cup, stir, wait 2 minutes and enjoy! If you want a nice thick chocolate, put the 4.5 oz of liquids and the powder together, stir and place on low heat, always stirring, for 30 seconds! Enjoy!

Advice

As an aroma, I used cinnamon but if you don’t like it you can use vanilla or orange (always powdered aromas).

You can package the portions individually.

You can serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

I recommend closing the jar with a red ribbon and a nice card (perhaps homemade as well!) if you are gifting it for Christmas!

FOR A SUGAR-FREE HOT CHOCOLATE: replace the sugar with an equal amount of erythritol or with 0.5 oz of stevia!
