Ingredients for Light Gratinated Fennel

  • 12 oz fennel (weighed already cleaned)
  • 3 tbsps breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove red garlic
  • 1 tbsp parsley (fresh)
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Light Gratinated Fennel

  • Clean the fennel from the waste parts, wash them well and dry them, slice them thinly.

  • Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and arrange the fennel slices on top.

  • With the help of a cutting board and a sharp knife, finely chop parsley and garlic, place them in a bowl.

  • Add breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt to the garlic and parsley, mix and sprinkle the mixture over the fennel slices, also drizzle the oil on top.

  • Preheat the oven to the highest temperature and when it’s very hot, bake them, cook for 15/20 minutes, once cooked take them out and enjoy, these light gratinated fennels are excellent both hot and cold!
