Ingredients for Light Gratinated Fennel

  • 12 oz fennel (weighed already cleaned)
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 clove red garlic
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (fresh)
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of Light Gratinated Fennel

  • Clean the fennel from waste parts, wash them well and dry them, thinly slice them.

  • Place parchment paper on a baking tray and arrange the fennel slices on top.

  • Using a cutting board and a sharp knife, finely chop parsley and garlic, put them in a bowl.

  • Add the breadcrumbs and a pinch of salt to the garlic and parsley, mix and distribute the mixture over the fennel slices, also drizzle the oil on top.

  • Preheat the oven to the maximum temperature and when it is very hot, bake, cook for 15/20 minutes, once cooked take them out and enjoy them, these light gratinated fennel are excellent both hot and cold!
