Preparation of Savory Bull’s Eye (Salmon Canapés for Christmas)
With the larger cutter, cut 1 circle from each slice of sandwich bread (16 circles), and in 8 circles, make a hole in the center with the smaller cutter.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with oil, salt, pepper, and parsley until you obtain a homogeneous mixture which you will spread on each whole circle.
With the large cutter (used previously), cut the salmon and place it on the cheese-spread slices, cover each canapé with a disk with a hole in the center. Before serving, decorate with the remaining cream cheese and some fresh parsley.
If you don’t consume the salmon canapés immediately, just cover them with cling film and store them in the fridge until the right moment.
