Preparation of the Savory Cocktail Biscuits
In a bowl, pour the flour, salt, yeast, grated cheese, pepper and mix quickly.
Add the egg, oil, and water to the bowl and start mixing with the spoon. Once the mixture becomes firm, place it on the floured kneading board.
Knead on the board for a few minutes until you obtain a smooth and soft dough (similar to shortcrust pastry).
With a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/5 inch, use the 1-inch plunger cutter to cut out the biscuits. Knead the scraps, roll out and cut again, continue this way until the dough is used up.
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (if necessary, bake in two separate batches), preheat the oven to 428°F.
Once the oven reaches the temperature, bake the savory cocktail biscuits for 12 minutes, then remove them and let them cool.
Once the biscuits are ready and cooled, serve them in little serving bowls and enjoy their deliciousness!
