Ingredients for the Spiced Baked Ricotta
- 9 oz cow's milk ricotta (in one piece)
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp rosemary (dried)
- 1/2 tsp chives (dried)
- 1 pinch dried chili pepper
Preparation of the Baked Ricotta
Drain the ricotta from any whey present and then place it in a baking dish with parchment paper, being careful not to break it.
Prepare the spice mix, put them all in a small bowl, add the salt, and mix to make it a uniform blend.
Gently brush the ricotta with the oil (as listed in the ingredients) being careful not to break it, then coat it on every side with the spice mix prepared earlier (which will adhere perfectly to the surface thanks to the oil).
Heat the oven to 392°F and once it is very hot, bake the spiced ricotta, cook for 30 minutes, at the end of cooking, remove from the oven, let it cool, and enjoy all the goodness of this spiced baked ricotta! Enjoy your meal!
