Ingredients for Spiced Baked Ricotta
- 9 oz cow's milk ricotta (in a single piece)
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp rosemary (dried)
- 1/2 tsp chives (dried)
- 1 pinch dried chili pepper
Preparation of Baked Ricotta
Drain the ricotta from any whey present and then place it in a baking dish lined with parchment paper, being careful not to break it.
Prepare the spice mix, put them all in a small bowl, add the salt and mix until it becomes a uniform blend.
Gently brush the ricotta with the oil (as listed in the ingredients) being careful not to break it, then cover it on each side with the previously prepared spice mix (which will adhere well to the surface thanks to the oil).
Preheat the oven to 390°F and when it is hot, bake the spiced ricotta, cook for 30 minutes, at the end of cooking, take it out of the oven, let it cool, and enjoy this spiced baked ricotta in all its goodness! Enjoy your meal!
