Ingredients for Strawberry and Pistachio Frozen Yogurt Bars

  • 1 1/3 cups 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons wildflower honey (or stevia)
  • 1/8 cup toasted pistachios
  • 4 strawberries (medium-sized, use 6 if small)

Useful Tools

  • Parchment paper
  • Baking pan
  • Kitchen scale

Preparation of Strawberry and Pistachio Frozen Yogurt Bars

  • In a bowl, pour the yogurt and honey and mix them well until combined. Line the baking pan with parchment paper, pour the yogurt mixture into it, and level it to a thickness of about a quarter of an inch.

  • Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, dry them, and slice them. Distribute them over the yogurt, pressing gently. Then, distribute the coarsely chopped pistachios between the strawberries and press them slightly as well.

  • Place the baking pan in the freezer for 2 hours. After 2 hours, take out the pan, remove the yogurt slab, and cut the bars irregularly with a sharp knife. Return them to the pan and freeze for at least another 2 hours before consuming. When serving, simply take them out of the freezer and serve on a small plate! Enjoy this fresh fruit snack/dessert!
