Stuffed veal bundles that are cheesy and easy to prepare will solve lunches and dinners for the whole family! You can even prepare them in advance, cook them halfway, and finish them just before serving! Light and delicious, they will delight both kids and adults, and they’ll ask for seconds!
I recommend 3 side dishes to pair with this recipe:
- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Very Cheap
- Preparation time: 15 Minutes

- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All Seasons
Ingredients for Cheesy Stuffed Veal Bundles
- 15 oz veal round (10 slices)
- 6 oz cooked ham (thin slices)
- 4 oz emmental cheese (thin slices)
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp flavored pink salt (I used the green one)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Preparation of Stuffed Veal Bundles
Lay the veal slices individually on the work surface (you can use the paper they were wrapped in or a sheet of parchment paper), place a piece of cooked ham and one of cheese in the center of each slice until the ingredients are used up.
Close the bundles by rolling them and then folding the ends underneath, press slightly, and they won’t open. You won’t need toothpicks or kitchen twine to close them!
In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the flavored salt, coat the bundles carefully on all sides in this mixture, and place them on a non-stick baking tray.
Preheat the oven to 480°F and when hot, drizzle with some olive oil then bake for 15/20 minutes. Always check the cooking as every oven is different and times may vary. At the end of cooking, there should be a nice sauce left in the tray to pour over the rolls before serving. Once cooked, serve them hot with fresh parsley on top if desired!

NOTES
The recipe specifies 1 teaspoon of salt because it’s flavored pink salt (pink salt is already less salty, and there are aromatic herbs in it). If you want to use regular salt, be sure to only use a pinch!
