Turkey Strips with Speck

Lately I’ve been making everything into strips, I love them and these turkey strips with speck are phenomenal! You can prepare them in just a few minutes and they cook in just 15 minutes, you’ll have them on the table in no time! Ingredients for Turkey Strips with Speck

  • 7 oz turkey breast (sliced not too thick)
  • 2 oz sliced speck
  • as needed all-purpose flour (or whole wheat)
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp water

Preparation of Turkey Strips with Speck

  • Cut the turkey breast slices in half lengthwise and then into small strips, place them in a bowl with a pinch of salt and sufficient flour (about 2 tablespoons), mix until the meat is fully floured.

  • Cut the speck into strips and set it aside.

  • Heat the oil in a pan, add the strips and stir over high heat for 2 minutes, then add the water and continue stirring over medium heat for another 6/7 minutes

  • Now add the speck and continue stirring for the last 5 minutes, if it dries out too much add 1 or 2 more tablespoons of water.

  • At the end of cooking, the turkey strips with speck should be very creamy; once cooked, serve them piping hot with a sprinkle of pepper if desired!
