Ingredients for Vegan Crostini with Spinach

  • 1 slice bread for bruschetta (divided into 4 parts)
  • 10.5 oz spinach, cooked, boiled
  • 1 clove red garlic
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste fine salt
  • to taste mixed peppercorns (freshly ground, according to your taste)

Preparation of Vegan Crostini with Spinach

  • First, clean the spinach, boil them in slightly salted water, and once cooked, drain them very well.

  • In a pan, heat the oil and brown the cleaned and chopped garlic, then add the spinach and sauté them in the pan, stirring over medium heat for 5 minutes, add the pepper to your taste, turn off the heat and set aside.

  • In a non-stick pan (or in the oven or on a cast iron grill), toast the slices of bread on both sides, once toasted, place them on the serving plate.

  • Distribute the sautéed spinach over the toasted bread slices and serve the vegan spinach crostini hot!

Tips

You can prepare the vegan spinach crostini in advance and warm them in the oven just before serving!
