The frozen yogurt is an ice cream without condensed milk and cream, made with only 3 healthy and genuine ingredients for a dessert, or a snack to savor.
At my home during the summer, it is indispensable just like watermelon, and when I have some free time, I try to make it with my homemade Greek yogurt, and it’s even better!

Ingredients
- 2 cups 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Half lemon (the juice)
What do I need?
- Ice cream maker
- Bowl
Frozen Yogurt Preparation
Pour the Greek yogurt with the lemon juice and the powdered sugar into the bowl, whisk until you get a fluffy mixture.
To prepare the frozen yogurt without an ice cream maker, proceed as follows: pour the mixture into a freezer-safe bowl and let it rest for at least 4-5 hours, taking the bowl out every 30 minutes and breaking the crystals with a spoon. Gradually, you will notice that the ice cream becomes solid to the desired consistency. This process is a bit laborious but it allows you to obtain a perfect frozen yogurt!
If you are using an ice cream maker (I use this one), pour the mixture inside, start it, and follow the instructions for your machine.
