- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3 1/2 oz dark chocolate (in flakes)
- 2 oranges
- 1 packet baking powder
- butter and flour for the pan
- powdered sugar for decoration
Tools
- 24 cm bundt pan
- Bowl
- Electric whisk
Preparation of the orange and chocolate bundt cake
Pour the egg yolks into the bowl with the sugar and work with the electric whisk until you get a light and frothy mixture
Then pour the orange juice with the grated peel and melted butter brought to room temperature. Work again with the whisk at low speed
Finally add the flour and baking powder and work again with the whisk for 3 or 4 minutes until you reach a soft and velvety consistency.
Flour the dark chocolate flakes, pour them into the bowl and mix with a spatula
Separately, whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add them little by little to the cake batter with a spatula movement from bottom to top
Butter and flour the 24 cm diameter bundt pan. Pour the mixture inside, level the surface with the spatula and bake in the oven at 340°F (170°C) for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let completely cool before removing from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy! Find the video recipe here on my Instagram profile @isaporidicasa.
