An evergreen classic of Italian cuisine is the seafood salad, perfect as an appetizer, or as a main course during a seafood dinner, and also an essential element of the Christmas holidays in my home.
There are many versions of this delicious dish: with the addition of shellfish like mussels and clams, or with the inclusion of fresh vegetables or pickles. My seafood salad, however, I prepare with the freshest fish, to which I add only parsley, oil, and lemon juice, as I love to taste the fish’s flavor in all its goodness! I hope you like it and I look forward to your opinions on my Instagram profile @isaporidicasa!!!

- 1 lemon

Seafood Salad Preparation
Bring the water to a boil with half a lemon. Once it starts boiling, add salt and immerse the octopus, cook for about 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool in the cooking water, so it becomes tender.
Bring water to a boil in another saucepan, add salt and dip the cuttlefish cooking for about 12-15 minutes. Remove the cuttlefish from the water and immerse the squid in the same water, cook for 10 minutes. Finally, remove the squid from the water and dip the prawn tails for a minute, remove them and immerse the shrimp and cook them for a few moments, then drain them.
Now that all the fish are cooked, cut the octopus into pieces and the cuttlefish and squid into strips, place them in the bowl with the prawn tails and shrimp and let them cool completely. Finally, season with lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, some fresh parsley, and the minced clove of garlic (optional). Adjust with salt and pepper and store in the fridge until serving.
