The spaghetti with tuna, cherry tomatoes, and olives is a quick summer main dish made with a few simple ingredients that smell like summer in our beautiful country.
At my house, it’s one of the most popular pastas during the summer period, which I alternate with the indispensable rice and pasta salads.

Ingredients
- 14 oz spaghetti
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 9 oz tuna fillets
- 3.5 oz green olives in brine
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 sprig basil
- 1 pinch chili pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt

Steps
Wash the cherry tomatoes under running water and cut in half. Cook the spaghetti, meanwhile in another pan pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil with the clove of garlic. Add the cherry tomatoes and continue cooking for a few moments. Season with the basil leaves broken into pieces.
Add the tuna fillets and mix them into the sauce with a wooden spoon
Finally, add the pitted green olives and adjust with salt and a pinch of chili powder. Take the al dente spaghetti with the fork and put them directly in the pan with two tablespoons of pasta cooking water. Cook over high heat until well combined. Serve immediately and enjoy your meal!
