How to Make CHESTNUTS IN AIR FRYER
With a sharp knife, score the chestnuts creating a cut on the rounded side.
Place the chestnuts in a bowl and cover them with water; let them soak for about 30 minutes.
After the soaking time, drain the chestnuts and place them in the air fryer basket, arranging them in a single layer with the cut side up.
Cook in the air fryer at 356°F for about 15 minutes (no preheating required). You will know they are ready when the cut on the chestnuts is well open.
Line a bowl with a clean kitchen towel and pour in the cooked chestnuts, cover with the towel flaps, and let rest for 5 minutes. This will make the chestnuts soft and easy to peel.
The chestnuts in the air fryer are ready to enjoy.
