Very often, in fact, we think of zucchini as a rather bland food, not liked by many and hated by children. But the Sicilian long zucchini, cooked in the oven with potatoes, tomatoes, and a generous amount of chopped onion, is really delicious. It might also be because this long zucchini is very fresh, tender, and locally sourced, actually less than zero kilometers, since it comes from the garden of Emilia, my very kind and generous neighbor.
