It is an easy recipe to make using just a few ingredients: potatoes, milk, butter, and Parmesan. Preparation of MASHED POTATOES

  • Wash the potatoes, place them in a pot, cover them with plenty of cold water (1) and cook for 30 – 40 minutes from boiling; obviously, the cooking time depends on the size of the potatoes. To ensure the right degree of cooking, you can poke them with a fork or a skewer. Drain the boiled potatoes (2) and let them cool for a few minutes, then peel them (3).

  • Using the potato ricer, mash the potatoes while they are still hot and let them fall into a saucepan (4). I used a pan. Place the saucepan on the stove and add the milk (5) that you have previously heated. Add a pinch of salt and a few dashes of nutmeg (6).

  • Cook on low heat, stirring until the milk is completely absorbed (7). It will only take a few moments. At this point, add the butter (8) and Parmesan (9) and continue to stir until the butter is melted. Remove from heat.
