Ingredients

With these doses, you get a small jar like the ones provided by the machine.

  • 12 oz almond beverage
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp almond syrup

  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 Ice Cream Maker Ninja Creami
  • 1 Whisk

Steps

  • Heat the almond beverage (it should not boil but reach a temperature of 140-160 °F). Add the sugar and almond syrup. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Transfer the mixture into the jar provided with the ice cream maker, let it cool well, close it with its lid, and place it in the freezer for 24 hours. When placing the jar inside the freezer, make sure it is on a flat surface and that the liquid inside is level.

    After the resting time, take the jar out of the freezer, remove the lid, and check that the mixture has not frozen unevenly. Place the container with the sorbet in the outer bowl of the machine. Install the blades on the top of the outer lid, securing them well. Place the lid on the bowl containing the ice cream and turn it clockwise to lock it. Position the bowl on the motor base and lock it in place. When it is ready, you will hear a click.

    Select the SORBET program to start processing. When processing is complete all four dashes of the progress bar will flash and then turn off. Remove the bowl from the appliance and take out the container with the softened sorbet ready to be served.

Notes

If some sorbet is left over, it keeps in the freezer and when you use it next time, if it is too hard (but this has never happened to me), just put it back in the machine and start the re-spin button.
