Ingredients
- 1 roll rectangular puff pastry
- 1.75 oz dark chocolate chips
- 2.4 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
Tools
- 1 Small Bowl
- 1 Brush kitchen
- 1 Knife
- 1 Mat reusable baking
Steps
Unroll the puff pastry and brush it with the melted butter. Sprinkle it with the granulated sugar and chocolate chips. Roll the puff pastry from the longer side. Pinch the seam with your fingers to seal it. Keep the roll on parchment paper with the seam facing down. With a knife, score the roll lengthwise, dividing it in half, and braid the two halves, trying to keep the open sides facing outwards. Transfer the braided roll to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or the appropriate reusable mats and bake it in a preheated oven at 356°F for 25/30 minutes. Once ready, remove the braid from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
