  • Difficulty: Easy

  • Preparation time: 10 Minutes
  • Portions: 2People
  • Cooking methods: Oven, Electric Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: All seasons

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 slices cooked ham
  • 3 oz crescenza cream (or stracchino)

Tools

  • 1 Stand Mixer Kitchen Aid Artisan
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Baking Pan for 12-inch pizza

Steps

  • In the bowl of a stand mixer (but you can also knead by hand), combine the water, oil, and salt. Then add the flour and mix to obtain a smooth, homogeneous, soft, and elastic dough. Transfer it to the work surface, form a ball, and cover it with the same bowl. Let it rest for ten minutes. After the resting time, divide the dough into two parts and roll them out thinly with the rolling pin, sprinkling the work surface with a little flour. Line the pan with one of the two discs. Spread the crescenza cream (I bought the one with a part of yogurt inside at the supermarket) and the cooked ham. Cover with the second disc, sealing the edges well into a cord, and bake in a preheated oven at 428 °F for twenty minutes or until the surface has turned a nice golden color.
