Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g sugar
  • 30 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 60 ml rice oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • 1 orange (grated zest)
  • 1 packet baking powder (vanilla-flavored)

Steps

  • In the bowl of the stand mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar then add the sifted flour and cocoa. Continue with the milk, rice oil, and plain Greek yogurt. Add the grated zest of one orange and, finally, the packet of baking powder. Transfer the batter to a 9.5-inch bundt pan or an 8-inch springform pan, greased and floured, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 35 minutes, but always do the skewer test to check for doneness. Let it cool on a rack before slicing.

Notes

If you want to make the cake even more indulgent, chop some dark chocolate and add it to the batter.
