The lemon sorbet prepared with Ninja Creami is a refreshing and thirst-quenching dessert. It is perfect for summer, but at my house, I prepare the lemon sorbet all year round. Because it’s pleasant to enjoy between courses or at the end of a meal as a digestif. If you have the Ninja Creami, try it!

Ingredients
With these quantities, you get two jars provided with the machine.
- 7 oz sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon syrup
- 1.75 cups water (heated to 140/158 °F)
- 0.85 cups lemon juice
Tools
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Ice Cream Maker Ninja Creami
- 1 Kitchen Whisk
- 1 Citrus Juicer
Steps
Heat the water (it should not boil but reach a temperature of 140/158 °F). Add the sugar and lemon syrup. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Add the lemon juice and stir. Divide the mixture into two jars provided with the ice cream maker, let it cool well, close them with their lid, and place them in the freezer for 24 hours. When placing the jars inside the freezer, ensure they are on a flat surface and that the liquid inside is leveled.
After the resting time, take out one jar at a time from the freezer, remove the lid, and check that the mixture has not frozen unevenly. Place the tub with the sorbet into the outer bowl of the machine. Install the paddles (or blades) on the top of the outer lid, securing them well. Place the lid on the bowl containing the ice cream and turn it clockwise to lock it. Place the bowl on the motor base and lock it in position. When it is at the right point, you will hear a click.
Select the SORBET program to start processing. At the end of the processing, all four advancement bar dashes will flash and then turn off. Remove the bowl from the appliance and take out the tub with the softened sorbet ready to be served.
Proceed in the same way with the second jar.
Notes
If the sorbet is left over, it can be stored in the freezer, and at the time of next use, if it is too hard (but it has never happened to me), just put it back in the machine and press the re-spin button.
