The light chocolate salami, without butter and eggs, is a super smart and super quick idea to prepare a delicious and light treat. It can’t be a last-minute dessert because it requires some time in the freezer, but I assure you that the preparation is very fast and easy. You prepare it in advance, keep it ready in the freezer, even already sliced, and take it out ten minutes before serving. The light chocolate salami is an excellent dessert served with coffee, but it’s a delightful snack for children.

Ingredients
- 4 1/4 oz dry biscuits
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 3/4 oz dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 7 tbsp milk
Tools
- 1 Blender / Mixer kenwood triblade
Steps
Melt the dark chocolate in a bain-marie. Coarsely chop the biscuits in the mixer (do not reduce them to powder but just break them up), place them in a bowl and add the sugar, melted dark chocolate, cocoa, and milk, preferably at room temperature. Mix all the ingredients well, ensuring that the milk is well absorbed by the powders and biscuits.
Transfer the obtained mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and work it with your hands to form a log (it should have the shape of a salami). Wrap it in parchment paper and let it set in the freezer for a couple of hours. Slice it a few minutes before serving.
