Light chocolate salami with speculoos without eggs and butter is a delicious dessert with an intense flavor. Beware, when it comes to desserts, the definition of light is always ‘relative.’ This is light compared to classic chocolate salami made with butter, but it’s still a sweet treat and additionally, it contains speculoos. However, you can indulge in it, but always in moderation. Easy, tasty, no-bake, let’s see how to prepare light chocolate salami with speculoos.

Ingredients
- 4.2 oz speculoos cookies
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1.8 oz dark chocolate
- 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.42 cup milk
Tools
- 1 Kenwood Chopper
- 1 Double Boiler
- 1 Bowl
Steps
Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler. Coarsely chop the cookies in a mixer (do not reduce them to powder, just crumble them), pour them into a bowl and add the sugar, melted dark chocolate, cocoa, and milk, preferably at room temperature. Mix all the ingredients well, ensuring that the milk is well absorbed by the powders and cookies.
Transfer the obtained mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper and work it with your hands to form a roll (it should look like a salami). Wrap it in the parchment paper and let it set in the freezer for a couple of hours. Slice it a few minutes before serving.
Notes
The light chocolate salami without butter remains softer compared to the one prepared with the classic recipe.
