Advice

Almond butter can be replaced with hazelnut or peanut butter. Alternatively, you can use 1 oz of hazelnuts and 1 oz of almonds. Blend them, then add oat flakes and continue blending without reducing them to flour. Then, proceed as per the recipe.

Maple syrup can be replaced with agave syrup, rice syrup, or honey.

Rice oil can be replaced with another seed oil of your choice.

Vanilla extract can be replaced with vanillin, cinnamon, or the grated (edible) peel of a lemon for a fresh touch.

Feel free to add dark or white chocolate chips, dried fruit, and seeds to the mixture.

The bars can be stored in an airtight container for a week. Maybe even a bit longer, but I haven’t tried it. I always make a small batch to finish them quickly.
