The pasta skewers, visually appealing and delicious to taste, can be prepared in just a few minutes: a fun and different idea to surprise your guests. For these pasta skewers I chose bowtie pasta, olives, salami, and cheese, but you can assemble them as you prefer. No, it’s not exactly a recipe. It’s more of an idea as I’ve already mentioned. But I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them at first sight!

- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All seasons
Ingredients
You need 18 bowtie pasta pieces for the skewers, but I recommend cooking a few extra just in case some break when threading them onto the skewers. For this recipe, I considered three skewers per person.
- 18 bowtie pasta
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 18 cubes Emmental cheese
- 18 black olives
- 18 green olives stuffed with pepper
- 18 slices salami (country or Tuscan)
Tools
- 1 Pot for boiling pasta
- 1 Bowl
- 18 Cocktail sticks/skewers
Steps
Boil the pasta in salted water for the time indicated on the package, drain it al dente and pat it dry with paper towels. Transfer it to a bowl and season with oil, garlic powder, and oregano.
Assemble the skewers: thread the pasta, a green or black olive, a slice of salami folded in half and then again to form a triangle, and a cheese cube. Arrange the skewers on a plate or cutting board and serve them.

The idea for the recipe comes from The Baker Mama.
