Ingredients
With these quantities, you get a small jar provided with the machine.
- 10.5 oz peaches (cleaned and chopped)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/2 lemon (juice)
Tools
- 1 Ice Cream Maker Ninja Creami
- 1 Chopper Kitchen Aid
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Hand Whisk
- 1 Juicer manual
Steps
In a small saucepan, heat the water with the sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool. Peel the peaches and blend them with the juice of half a lemon to obtain a cream. Add the peach pulp to the water and sugar syrup. Stir to combine the ingredients and transfer the mixture into the jar provided with the Ninja Creami. Close with the lid and place in the freezer. When placing the jar inside the freezer, make sure it is on a flat surface upright and that the liquid inside is well leveled.
After the resting time, take out the jar from the freezer, remove the lid and check that the mixture has not frozen at an angle. Place the container with the sorbet in the machine’s outer bowl. Install the blades (or paddles) on the top of the outer lid, securing them well. Place the lid on the bowl containing the ice cream and turn it clockwise to lock it. Place the bowl on the motor base and lock it in place. When it’s in the right position, you will hear a click.
Select the SORBET start program to begin processing. At the end of the process, all four progress bar dashes will flash and then turn off. Remove the bowl from the appliance and remove the container with the softened sorbet ready to be served.
If any sorbet is left over, it can be stored in the freezer, and when used again, if it is too hard (but that has never happened to me) just put it back in the machine and start the re-spin button.
