Ingredients

If served as an appetizer, it is suitable for four people, if as a main dish, it is enough for two.

  • 1 sheet rectangular puff pastry
  • 7 oz Gorgonzola
  • 2 Williams pears
  • 1 handful of walnuts
  • 2 tbsp acacia honey

Steps

  • Unroll the puff pastry and place it on a baking sheet. Fold the edges slightly on all four sides to form a border all around. Prick the puff pastry with the tines of a fork and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for five minutes. Peel the pears, remove the core, and slice them thinly. Cut the Gorgonzola into strips. Remove the puff pastry from the oven, arrange the pears and Gorgonzola strips in rows and alternate. Return to the oven and bake for another twenty minutes. Once cooked, sprinkle the crumbled walnuts and honey on top, let it cool slightly, and serve.
