The spicy beef stew cooked in a slow cooker is a hearty, rich, and fragrant second course. I used cloves, star anise, and juniper, but you can choose the spices you prefer to create the mix that best suits your taste. For me, spicy beef stew is true comfort food. Just the idea of coming home to find dinner ready makes the day lighter. If you add some grilled vegetables and couscous, you’ll have a complete meal.
