The spicy hummus is a soft and delicious creamy dip ideal for preparing and accompanying crostini, bruschetta, canapés, and piadina chips. A very simple recipe for appetizers but also a great condiment to add as a base for stuffed sandwiches. If you love traditional chickpea hummus, I am sure you will find the spicy hummus equally good!

Steps
Drain the chickpeas from their liquid, rinse them under running water and remove the skin that covers them (if you find cooked and peeled chickpeas you can skip this step). Transfer them to the food processor, add the salt, pepper, curry, and the juice of half a lemon. Blend until you obtain a creamy texture then incorporate the yogurt and oil in the necessary quantity to achieve the desired consistency. Cover with plastic wrap, with appropriate reusable fabric lids or with the bowl’s own lid if available, and let rest in the fridge for at least an hour before serving with the addition of olives.
