Tasty Potatoes in Air Fryer

The tasty potatoes in an air fryer are light, crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and above all, tasty. Preparing the tasty potatoes in the air fryer is not very different from making them in the oven. As I always say, the air fryer is more like a small fan oven than a real fryer, and for this reason, the final result is not fried potatoes but roasted ones. However, compared to the oven, it has advantages: no preheating, faster cooking, and an extremely tasty crispy crust. Ingredients

  • 14 oz potatoes
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 oz Taggiasca olives
  • to taste aromatic herbs of choice (I use Mediterranean mix)
  • to taste garlic powder (optional)
  • to taste salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 oz breadcrumbs

Tools

  • 1 Peeler
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Kitchen knife
  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Air fryer
  • 1 Parchment paper sheet for air fryer

Steps

  • Peel the potatoes, wash, dry, and cut them into sticks, then transfer them to a bowl and add the peeled and sliced onion, Taggiasca olives, Mediterranean herbs, garlic powder, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and dress with olive oil. Mix everything well, then transfer it to the air fryer (mine is an oven type, so I use the appropriate parchment paper or a small baking dish. If you have a drawer air fryer, you can place them directly inside. Cook at 392 °F in the air fryer for about fifteen minutes. Serve the potatoes hot.
