Ingredients
- 6.35 oz penne
- 1 zucchini (grated)
- 3.5 oz canned tuna in oil
- 2.8 oz smoked bacon
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
Tools
- 1 Cutting Board
- 1 Knife
- 1 Grater with large holes
- 1 Saucepan with low edges
- 1 Pot for boiling pasta
Steps
Wash the zucchini, dry it, remove the ends, and grate it with a large-hole grater. In a low-edged saucepan, heat the oil and add the smoked bacon, letting it brown until golden, then add the zucchini. Cook for five minutes, then add the canned tuna, drained of its oil, and adjust the salt, but be careful because both the bacon and tuna are already quite flavorful. Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water, drain it, and add it to the sauce. Let the flavors blend for a few minutes and then serve the pasta hot.
Notes
Tuna, bacon, and zucchini pasta is also an excellent summer dish to enjoy cold.
