How to prepare air fryer molten lava cakes
Let’s start preparing the air fryer molten lava cakes, finely chop the dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave at 750°F for 90 seconds. Remove the chocolate and stir it with a whisk until it is smooth. While the chocolate is still hot, add the butter in pieces, mixing well until it melts and blends well with the chocolate.
Then add the sugar, vanillin, and beaten eggs, mix well to incorporate everything until you get a nice smooth cream. Then add the sifted flour and incorporate it well to avoid lumps.
Butter the molds and dust them with cocoa powder, this way they will come off easily, pour the mixture into the 6 molds and place them in the air fryer basket. Cook them at 356°F for 9 minutes.
When the air fryer molten lava cakes are ready, remove them from the air fryer basket, turn them over onto a plate, remove the mold, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
