AIR FRYER SPINACH FRITTATA

Air fryer spinach frittata is an easy, quick, and tasty main course, that you can prepare in half an hour with very few ingredients. The frittata cooks perfectly in the air fryer; if you don’t have parchment paper trays suitable for the air fryer, no problem—place a sheet of parchment paper inside the basket, and you’ll see that you can easily remove and flip the frittata, which is more difficult if you use a ceramic or aluminum tray. Cooking time may vary depending on the type of air fryer you use; this is the AIR FRYER I use. How to prepare the Air Fryer Spinach Frittata

  • Let’s start preparing the Air Fryer Spinach Frittata, clean the spinach, wash them, and place them in a wide skillet with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, cover with a lid and let cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Please do not add water; the spinach will release it during cooking. Once done, remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  • Cut the mozzarella for pizza or any other cheese you prefer. Pour the eggs into a bowl and beat them with a fork, add some salt, the cheese cubes, and the previously cooked spinach, mix and incorporate everything.

  • Take a parchment paper tray suitable for cooking in the air fryer, place it on the basket of your air fryer, pour in the eggs and spinach, and level everything well.

  • Cook at 375°F for 10 minutes, remove the tray from the basket and, with the help of a plate, flip the frittata, place it back on the tray, and continue cooking at 375°F for another 15 minutes.

  • Once cooked, remove the tray from the basket, cut the Spinach Frittata, and serve it hot or at room temperature as you prefer.
