- 10 Artichoke Hearts
- 4 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Chopped parsley
- 1 cup Water
- to taste Salt

How to prepare the Artichoke Hearts in Pan
Let’s start preparing the artichoke hearts in pan. Finely chop the garlic and parsley and set aside.
Pour 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil into a large pan, place the artichoke hearts, if possible, try not to overlap them to ensure even and uniform cooking. Add the water, salt, and pepper, and cook covered for 5 minutes, turning them halfway through.
Remove the lid, add the chopped parsley and garlic that you prepared earlier, and cook for another 10 minutes, turning the hearts halfway through.
Check the cooking by inserting the prongs of a fork; if they enter the heart easily, it means the artichoke hearts in pan are cooked. The cooking time may vary depending on the artichoke hearts: some are very tender and cook quickly, while others need more time. When they are ready, serve them hot.
