How to prepare asparagus in air fryer
Let’s start preparing the asparagus in air fryer. Wash the asparagus and remove the hard end of the stalk. If you are preparing purple or green asparagus, simply take one asparagus at a time, bend the end, and it will snap at the right point. If you use very fresh asparagus, there’s no need to peel them. If you see filaments, then peel them with a peeler.
If you need to prepare white asparagus, cut off the hard end and peel them with a peeler, then wash them well under running water.
Once you’ve cleaned and washed the asparagus, place them on the tray inside the air fryer’s basket. Season with salt, pepper, and extra virgin olive oil, and cook at 360°F for 20 minutes. Halfway through cooking, open the basket and turn the asparagus to ensure even cooking.
Once the asparagus is cooked, open the basket and remove the tray. Serve the asparagus hot.
