How to Prepare Baked Pineapple
Let’s start preparing the baked pineapple. Clean the pineapple; I recommend using a sharp knife, I use a ceramic one. First, remove the top part with the leaves and then the bottom part.
Place the pineapple upright on a cutting board and remove the outer part while keeping it upright, this way it will be easier. Then cut into slices about half an inch thick. Remove the harder inner part with a small round cutter, it’s easy and quick; otherwise, if you don’t have one, remove it with a small knife. Or for quick and easy cleaning, use the specific tool for cleaning pineapples.
Preheat the oven to 350°F, place the slices in a baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar, and put in the oven. Bake for 10 minutes.
