How to Make Basil Salt
Let’s start preparing the basil salt. Wash the basil leaves, pat them dry, and allow them to dry thoroughly.
Place the basil leaves and coarse salt in the blender, blend well, then transfer to a baking sheet, spreading the green salt evenly.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 212°F for 30 minutes.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, break up the solidified salt, and place it back in the blender. Blend until you obtain a fine salt.
Pour the basil salt into a jar, let it cool, and mix it with a teaspoon. Once it’s cool, you can close the jar with a lid and store it in your pantry.
