Chocolate and pistachio are delightful homemade chocolates that can be kept in the refrigerator for several months or at room temperature if it’s not hot. You can also place these chocolate treats in small bags and give them to friends or family; they are also perfect to serve at a buffet. I recommend trying DRIED FRUIT WITH CHOCOLATE, a version with various types of dried fruit; these chocolates are also very good. If you want, you can also add some raisins, which go very well with pistachios; if you wish, you can make half with just pistachios and the other half with 50g of dried raisins. Now let’s see how to make chocolate and pistachio, and if you try it, let me know. Barbara

Ingredients
- 7 oz dark chocolate
- 3.5 oz pistachios (shelled)
- to taste crushed pistachios
- 1.75 oz raisins (optional)
Steps
Let’s begin preparing the Chocolate and pistachio, finely chop the chocolate,
place it in a bowl and melt it in a double boiler.
When the chocolate is melted, add the pistachios and stir.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and using a spoon and a teaspoon, make small heaps that you place on the tray; use the teaspoon to detach them from the spoon and place them on the tray.
Once you’ve created all the chocolate and pistachio heaps, sprinkle with crushed pistachios.
If you want, you can also add some dried raisins, mix everything together
and then make the heaps; then add some raisins on top.
Place in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes before serving so the chocolate sets.
